Structure

Vanguard International Academy (VIA) is a private Islamic school, offering instruction for Middle and High School students. VIA follows a TEKS based program combining Pre-AP, AP, dual credit, and other programs to offer its students the best college preparatory program, coupled with tailored Quran, Arabic, and Islamic Studies curricula.

 

Faculty and Staff

Vanguard International Academy seeks and employs teachers who have the best academic credentials and/or experience, and especially those who also demonstrate a conviction to follow the Islamic way of life. Additionally the Board of the Directors, the School Director, Administration, and other staff ensure the best education possible for our students.

VIA School Goals

  • To instill and Strengthen love for Allah and His messenger(peace be upon him) in each child, so that they take the Quran and authentic Sunnah as the primary sources of guidance in their daily lives and actions.
  • To provide a high standard of education and instruction in mathematics, science, social studies, and language arts, as well as electives such as fine arts, computer technology, and physical education.
  • Strengthen our children to have pride in their heritage and to deal effectively with the challenges of living in modern American society.
  • Incorporate the Arabic language as a part of their lives.
  • Develop community service and leadership skills.
  • Build strong moral character, based on the principles of integrity, honesty and sincerity, respect for others, property and other resources, coupled with a strong sense of responsibility

Admissions

VIA is a full-time Middle and High School, providing instruction from Grades 7-12. Admissions are open throughout the year. VIA admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to its students and does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs. Enrollment is open year long.
